Workshop Description

USA Patriotic Class Description

Skill Level: Moderate to Intermediate

Prerequisites: Prior needlepoint experience or completion of a beginner needlepoint class required

About This Project
Stitch up some patriotic pride with this charming USA canvas! Featuring bold red “USA” lettering, festive fireworks and star accents, and a classic plaid border.  It’s the perfect project to show off at any Fourth of July celebration!

What You’ll Learn
This canvas offers a wonderful mix of techniques that will build your stitching confidence.

While several elements of this canvas are beginner-friendly — particularly the background and lettering fill — students should arrive with a foundational understanding of canvas needlepoint, including how to start and end threads, maintain even tension, and work basic tent or basketweave stitches. The border patterning and specialty accent stitches will introduce new challenges that make this a rewarding next step for the developing stitcher.
